Getting StartedI always suggest that before you do anything else – go to the internet, see what other companies like yours do, and make a list of what you see that you like, and more importantly – what you don’t. Does their site “work”? Is it easy to understand? Can you get around? Can you make small text larger?

What this means that you are now studying “USABILITY”. Sounds confusing? – it’s not really. Think of it as “how easy is it for a normal human to understand and use”. Here’s a definition from http://usability.gov– why not visit the page to learn a little more?

What is usability?

Usability measures the quality of a user’s experience when interacting with a product or system…. In general, usability refers to how well users can learn and use a site to achieve their goals and how satisfied they are with that process.
